Credit Bureau hit = Can't get a loan at all? 5 ways to "rebuild your credit" to make banks look at you again

Many people make financial mistakes and are afraid they will never be approved for a loan again…
"My credit is ruined, how do I start over?" The good news is! Even if you have a Credit Bureau hit, you can definitely get a home loan again if you know how to “rebuild your credit” strong enough.

Today, Proview Living will show you how to build “good credit”.
So that you can have another opportunity for a loan, especially for an important goal like “your dream home.”

What is the Credit Bureau?

The Credit Bureau is the central hub for debt repayment information in Thailand.
Whether you're making car payments, using credit cards, getting a loan, or a home loan… banks report your behavior here.
So, if you pay late, miss payments, or don't pay at all, the system will "remember" everything.

Credit Bureau hit = Can't get a loan at all?

Not true!
A Credit Bureau hit does not equal a permanent blacklist.
However, it “affects loan consideration” as banks view you as high risk.
Therefore, if you want to be able to get a loan again, you need to build new credit for the system to see.

5 ways to "rebuild your credit" to make banks look at you again

1. Pay debts on time, every installment, no exceptions

Start here!
Don't forget, Credit Bureau = debt repayment behavior.
Pay on time, pay every installment in full, do not miss a single payment, because the system stores data for 24 months retrospectively.
Financial discipline = signaling that you are ready to be responsible

2. Settle old debts completely

Especially debts overdue by more than 90 - 120 days.
You should settle all debts as soon as possible, because prolonged outstanding payments will remain in your credit report for up to 3 years.
After settling, keep all evidence (account closure statement, payment slips).
If you need to explain to the bank, you will have clear documents.

3. Wait for the information to be removed from the system

After settling the debt, the bank will update the information to the Credit Bureau in the next cycle.
Generally, it takes "6 months - 1 year" for the "overdue" status to disappear.
If you are overdue for more than 300 days, you have to wait for the information to be cleared from the system, which can take up to 2 years.

4. Start using new credit lightly to rebuild credit

Such as installments for mobile phones, appliances, or using credit cards within your means.
Pay in full – Pay on time – Don't miss payments.
The system will start to see that "you've changed" and automatically increase your credit score.

5. Don't stop checking your own credit

Check your credit bureau report 1-2 times a year.
To see if the information has been updated or if there's anything unusual.
You can request your credit bureau report via the MyCredit Bureau app or the NCB website.
Knowing your own status will help you prepare before actually applying for a loan!

Small tricks from Proview Living

  • Do not open too many credit card accounts or installment plans at the same time.

  • Do not apply for loans from multiple banks simultaneously, as the Credit Bureau will view you as "risky."

  • If you have a credit bureau hit from a "co-borrower," you must immediately talk to the other party to settle the debt.

Summary: Even with a Credit Bureau hit, you can still get a home loan if you plan well!

Everyone can fall, but everyone can get back up.
Good credit = consistent financial discipline
Just start paying your debts on time, settle old debts, and use new credit responsibly.
Before long… the bank will definitely grant you a loan again.
